How It Works

1. Submit a Scheduling Request

Provide case caption, basic case details and preferred dates.

2. Pre-Mediation Coordination

We confirm participants, format, and any materials needed in advance. We also require parties and counsel to sign an Agreement to Mediate.

3. Mediation Sessions

Structured negotiation with a focus on resolution and efficiency. Resolutions can be reached during one session; however, often additional sessions may be necessary depending on the complexity of and number of issues involved.

4. Memorializing the Agreement

In accordance with MCR 3.126 (H) (8), to ensure any agreement is binding, we will record settlements or prepare a written settlement agreement to be signed by the parties.
